WordPress Contextual Help Source

August 22nd, 2007  | Categories: Design, Open Source

Coding for the Google Summer of Code has come to an end this week, and so has my work on a contextual help system for the WordPress Dashboard.

Here is the source. If you want to test it, you can download the latest WordPress from SVN and copy over the files. Once it gets reviewed and approved by my mentor, I will submit a patch to the project. Comments and suggestions are welcome; I’m sure there are more clever ways to code than I thought of.

    Hello,
nice blog here. I found it throug the “planet KDE” rss-feed.

So I understand that you wrote something for WordPress, that is included in the latest svn-version. But why you’re using the buggy 2.1-version? The latest stable release is 2.2.2. I’m using the german version of that.

But now I take a look to your code ;-)

Greetings and best wishes from Germany,
    Keep it Country,
    Markus
