Random Text Bites
One of my books finally arrived last night. Now if only I could not fall asleep on the Metro, I could read it.
I am trying to organize a card sort of the KDE menus to get a better idea of what non-power users expect from an application menu. The results should be applicable to any operating system.
Eli, Justin and I played our Horde characters last night, and finished the Ragefire Chasm dungeon. I’m starting to really like my troll mage, I dont know if its because I like the troll part or the mage part. My night elf rogue is level 44.8.
Only in Pittsburgh would you find a 15lb burger. The caloric value of this beast could feed 30-40 people.
My coworker found a giant snail in her salad from an unnamed deli last night. A large snail about the size of a walnut. I cant help but laugh but I’m glad it wasnt me.
I’m almost ready to launch my reading layout usability test. The goal of the test is 1) to verify that large amount of text is easier (easier being defined as the amount of time necessary to read at a relaxed paced) to read with a right nav than a left nav, and 2) to quantifiably test if a left nav with a border or some other “wall” can be as easy to read as the right nav layout.

People pay good money for those snails when they’re referred to as escargot. Think of a snail in your salad as a bonus. That’s not giant though. Giant snails are downright frightening, and many of them carry meningitis bacteria. Yaay.
Yeah, I think usually when you eat snails, theyre going to be cooked. This one was big and slimey and still alive. Alive enough it managed to climb out of the cup she put it in.
She was also afraid of meningitis because it was alive and slimey and she ate a good bit of lettuce before she found the thing. The unnamed deli was alerted and concerned for her (they better be concerned, if she got sick there would be a hell of a lawsuit). Its been a few days and as far as I know, shes in good health but sick of salads.
