City of Entertainment
After working all day long (again with this weekend crap.. hurricanes really need to make land during the week ;P), Justin and I went over to the Washington Monument to hear Thievery Corporation play at a free [protest] concert. DC is a good place for free/cheap entertainment (if you arnt picky). There are always free concerts going on at the various national parks and buildings in the area and are usually a good time (if you dont mind huge crowds of people). The concert combined with the mass of ant-war protesters made me feel like I was living in the 60’s.
Although I have my own position on the Iraq war (and have protested against it in the past), I was a passive participant and admittedly only went for the free music. Face it, Thievery fucking rocks.
Random statistic: I havnt blogged on a weekend since July (11 weeks?).

I know what you mean about feeling like you were in the 60’s at the Thievery Corporation concert. When Justin mentioned you both went,in one of his e-mails, I got a mental picture of the scene in Forrest Gump, where people are protesting the Vietnam War.
