Featuritis is a condition in which the functionality of an application increases with each revision (and such, complexity increases). The functionality that aggravates this condition is usually that which a single user (or group) requests (or is given) without consideration of the implications it has on the rest of the users, interface, and experience the application is meant to address.

Weekend in Montréal
It has been a while since I have missed an entire week of blogging (both here and on KDE Developers. Ah well, I will make up for lost time :)
Monday was a federal holiday (you know, that day the Spanish discovered us?) and us Feds got the day off from work. So, this past weekend Justin and I took advantage of the long weekend and flew to Montréal.
A few things about travelling: Almost missing flights is becoming a bad habit. Airports do not like my luggage. Its impossible to *not* be a tourist.

Its Everywhere!
This game is truly more popular than I had ever thought (and addictive). I look forward to my train ride in the morning because the Metro paper has a daily sudoku. Several friends (and their spouses) play and are just as addicted as me. I still havnt been able to solve a puzzle graded higher than ‘medium’ (without ‘helpers’) but Ive been pretty consistent with my times.
