Fall Has Finally Arrived

My favorite season has finally hit D.C.: atumn. Earlier this week you could tell it was coming: mornings were cool, and even though the day was warm you could feel the cool breeze. This morning was a definite confirmation of the season; it was about 45F when for work this morning with the daily high around 70F.

I dont know what it is about this season, if its the activities which come along with fall (football, hockey), the cool weather which makes it wonderful to be outside (cool and dry), the ability to layer and wear warm clothes (and my favorite sweatshirt), etc..

Favorite season, EVER!

Sudoku

This is my new addiction. I play the daily puzzle in our Metro Express paper, and online.

City of Entertainment

After working all day long (again with this weekend crap.. hurricanes really need to make land during the week ;P), Justin and I went over to the Washington Monument to hear Thievery Corporation play at a free [protest] concert. DC is a good place for free/cheap entertainment (if you arnt picky). There are always free concerts going on at the various national parks and buildings in the area and are usually a good time (if you dont mind huge crowds of people). The concert combined with the mass of ant-war protesters made me feel like I was living in the 60’s.

Although I have my own position on the Iraq war (and have protested against it in the past), I was a passive participant and admittedly only went for the free music. Face it, Thievery fucking rocks.

Random statistic: I havnt blogged on a weekend since July (11 weeks?).

Movie Time

The last five movies I purchased through Fandango:

I have certainly seen more movies than this over the past year, however these must have been the ones I wanted to see enough for me to purchase the tickets ahead of time.

Bunnies!

These are some cute-ass bunnie comics (an no, theyre not the infamous bunnie suicides)

I love the minimal drawing style and color, as well as the clever humour used to drive the panels. Bunnies!
